Job Description |
The candidate will work on the following areas of the business:
SEO
1. Build organic traffic for websites in various verticals using ethical means
2. Gain top ranking on google & other search engines
3. Work on quick search engine indexing of websites
4. Extensive keyword analysis, competitor analysis & link popularity analysis
5. Collaborate on site navigation, landing page performance and content organization
6. Planning and implementation of RSS syndication & various off page optimization strategies
7. Execution of successful link popularity campaigns & paid links acquisition
8. Sitemaps & directory submission
9. Reporting activities on a weekly basis
SEM / PPC
1. Expertly manage Google Adwords, Yahoo/Overture & Microsoft search marketing
2. Optimization of paid search campaigns & manage dynamic SEM campaigns
3. Research & addition of new keywords to the SEM accounts
4. Determine conversion & ROI of search marketing
Online Marketing
1. Use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, blogs, Youtube & Digg to to engage with consumers
2. Develop social media marketing strategies for live projects
3. Create inspiring & clutter-breaking ideas on the use of social media for achieving business goals
4. Perform secondary research & analysis on the internet
5. Build organic traffic for websites through SEO
6. Effectively manage targeted, direct marketing campaigns like e-mail etc |

Candidate Profile |
The candidate should have 1 year of relevant experience in a similar profile, where he/she has demonstrated results in increasing site rankings, search traffic and referral growth
Also,
· Not only 'into' the internet, but love it (yes...LOVE) & be updated on internet trends
· Experience with effective SEO Tools & bid management technology (Google Adwords)
· Proficient in web analytics & Google Webmaster tools
· Capability of quick link building
· Understanding of search engine spider behaviour
· Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS & Meta data
· Ability to write ad copy and optimize through A/B testing for better Click Through Rates (CTR) & conversion
· Knowledge of social media: Facebook, Twitter and blog sites
· Fluent in written & spoken communication (will have to demonstrate through samples)
· Creatively inclined (will have to demonstrate through samples), yet able to offer analytical insights
· Research-oriented
The candidate needs to be a team-person and comfortable with communicating his/her thoughts, multi-tasking, quick learning & delivering within deadlines
