The Head of Network Management will be responsible for acquiring, actively managing and retaining web publishers of high quality and relevance and creating networks of web publishers relevant for different audience profiles, advertisers and messages. This person will also be responsible for managing the current inventory based on campaign needs on an ongoing basis and developing the systems and processes required to do so. The work will involve research and analysis to understand audience behavior, negotiations and relationship management with publishers, management of the Publisher Management team and process and coordination with Operations, Finance and other functions.
Key Performance Indicators
· Acquisition of marquee names in each vertical
· Achievement of inventory targets (as required by the business) by verticals
· Retention of key publishers
· Cost of buying inventory relative to the revenues
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic
o Identify opportunities to create strategic networks of publishers in specific verticals and brand/ market them appropriately
· Tactical
o Identify and acquire key publishers by verticals
o Build right level of inventory by developing strong relationships with publishers
o Support sales team with marketing collaterals on networks
· Operational
o Lead and support price negotiations with publishers
o Develop and operationalize strong processes for RO/IO, invoice and payments
o Support delivery teams by providing inventory required for specific campaigns
